Releasing Qt 6.0 before year's end is easy, it's just that it will be ridden with bugs, but that's typical for them since they fix 500 bugs in each update release.

It should be called "Qt 6.0 December PR Release".
Waiting for a good enough release in 1 to 3 years.

It shouldn't be any surprise that a graphics toolkit available and supported on more platforms and architectures than most other toolkits has lots of bug fixes. With how large their code base is and how much they try to do I wouldn't be surprised if changes like GCC or LLVM going up a version could cause hundreds of bug reports. Even a single line added or removed from a CMake config on every sub-project due to a CMake change can potentially look like 40 bugs being fixed due to 40 commits to 40 projects over the course of a week. And that's just the snowball effect from external project changes. Internal project changes cause just as many if not more bugs, like 4 to 5.

I don't think the beta schedule is revised, just not updated. The release team doesn't even meet until Tuesday next week to set a target for the beta.

The QtWebSocket module is not included in 6.0

So the users of the free version will be stuck with Qt 5.15.2 or 5.12.9 until they reintroduce the Multimedia/Bluetooth/Virtual-Keyboard modules.
In the meantime Qt 5.15 will be updated for the commercial users.
I hope that asinine decision backfires spectacularly

Hrmm... so it's being released as open source? I'm sure all the FUD-posters from the last 6 months will apologize for being completely wrong.
