    Good answer.

Anyways, congrats for the Haiku team. Eagerly waiting to test their Beta (once its out) on a real hardware.

This human nature is incidentally why communism is not as comparably effective at producing decent living standards when comprared to capitalism.

When was the last time you decided that your own effort would be better spent dedicating your efforts to a software project that someone else considered more meaningful than whatever you were doing yourself, without any kind of personal interest in that other software yourself?

That's why - and it's the same answer every time this question is asked.
Both communism and capitalism are fine, bugzilla is a proof of that

Any reason you feel the need to bloody politicize every goddamn discussion?

PS: Believe it or not. Pure Capitalism, pure Communism (which has never existed to begin with) and pure Socialism aren't the only options out there.
In fact, all three of them are abject failures. The western economy is failing against the Chinese system because we cannot accept that Capitalism has quite a few crippling faults (the most glaring one being related to copyright and patents).

Before OpenGL, I would like a proper 64bits JVM. As Haiku is limited with 2GB per applications in 32Bit mode.

All java program that I use, use more memory than that.

Why not put the effort into something more meaningful.
The real reason behind this is that BeOS was known back in the day as "the media OS". As it stands, Haiku makes for a pretty poor media OS without graphics drivers good enough to play and edit FullHD / 4K videos or run a game smoothly.

This is fantastic news as it will make the already ported openshot, blender, godot etc usable!
