well, i have no problems with general use of firewalld for several years, on the other hand *bsd are not ready for general use and there is no reason to believe they will.

I was referring mainly to nftables which are definitely not ready. As it stands now I think that OpenBSD is the best firewall OS there is. For pretty much everything else, I pick Linux.

if you had any brains, you could guess that if *bsd had something good, it would be ported to linux long ago

"Not Invented Here" syndrome would stop it anyway, smirk.. it's like general disease in Linux world.

"We just have to reinvent wheel n times, quarter times not finish it, quarter time finish it but forget documentation, half the times start something more interesting in sidelines and drag feet.."
