      HP was sufficiently vague in the original PR message, so they can release *something* next month and get away with it.

          You mean Linux++?
          They lost big in the Unix-Like sector with their HP-UX..

          I believe they will try to resurrect with a new carrot on front of our eyes, but I don't know if it will sell..
          And if it sells, it will be because the Linux ecosystem is becoming dangerously restrictive on options for everyday usage..

          There are already Linux distros planning to move to BDSs kernels and such, because of that..
