Sucks that I can't use it. Didn't recognize my erthenet, and im assuming due to poor compatibility, my pollaris 11 GPU was all blurry and stuck at a very low resolution.

Yikes! Missing Wi-Fi support is one thing, but not recognizing ethernet is far worse!

You can skirt around wifi support by just tethering Android phone, making USB modem "hotspot" and typing "dhclient ue0" in shell.. Missing ethernet, quite curious as to what weird chipset/NIC it had to be? It should recognice pretty much all Realtek/Intel etc ethernet cards OTB

Not really sure, it's a dell XPS 8700 from 2014. I've never really had a distro or bsd not recognize my ethernet before on this desktop, I've only had issues with wifi, which all but opensuse don't have problems with anymore.

So, it's a Realtek 8111E, which has been supported for more than 7 years by FreeBSD.

              Supported since Revision 217498
