With a new more stable base I hope Collabora's Wine (Wayland) will soon be upstreamed. In any case, the Linux conversion seem to be better and better by every update.

Cannot they make something so that Wine64 + Wine32 can be compiled easily?

Given that GCC for x86_64 has -m32, I imagine it's just build system technical debt to be worked through... assuming they're not doing something like depending on multilib's 32-bit ELF libc to build their PE binaries.

When Wine will be able to run 32 bit software without 32 bit libraries Steam will be the only thing that will require 32 bit support on my system. I hope Valve will think about this as well in near future.

Somehow Steam gets by using an old 32bit build of CEF, although it's currently crashing on my Gentoo system. I wish they'd use just use webkit instead, I'm not a fan of CEF... isn't it time for a 64bit client?

Wait, a client that routinely handles payment information for countless gamers is using an "old" build of CEF? Isn't that a security concern?
