Stop beating yourself over stuff that happened before you were even born. Germany, the nation, is custodian of the _memory_ of WW2, and should treat it with respect, but that's all. As a German you are not obliged to carry any personal debt around with you for things you never had any say in.

And stop with the miss immigration already. I know Germans want to feel like good humanitarians and allow all the wretched of the world in, so they can wash away their own imagined sins, but the only thing it's really doing is laying the foundation for some massive civil unrest / civil wars / outright wars in the near future.

To be fair, for the past decade or so they've mostly stuck to getting rid of people they put into power in the first place (e.g. the Taliban and Iraq's Ba'athist party).
