      This is mainly useful for ARM SoCs where you have different independent 3D, multi-media, and display hardware and you want to share buffers between them as efficiently as possible.

        No without patching wayland. Wayland is not useful, it is bloatware in my computer.

          Devices with ARMSoCs are cool computers, with 50 usd or so you can have have a desktop computer. So this is a good thing. Mali 400 does have some accelerated mainline kernel gpu driver but newer like Mali-T820MP3 do not have. You can run desktop Linux in many of these devices, Most of them can boot from well known branded class 10 microsd cards
