    The i.MX6 always pissed me off. A product clearly designed not to compete in the NAS \ micro-server market. A silent agreement between NXP and Marvel to divvy up the market between themselves over Industrial and Consumer products.

    NXP put in great sata2, but then capped the ethernet at 400mb\s which was just short of two\three concurrent streams. In turn, Marvel could sell over-priced ethernet SoCs.

    It's good it has full mainlined support now. But practically speaking? Even if it was fresh to market, it would still be targeted industry only.
