      I agree. The ABI breakage with Nvidia drivers for older GPUs is really annoying on Ubuntu 12.04 (and related distros). On some systems I'm forced to downgrade X.org.

        well it might (and i stress might) help the likes of the so called "real time" Linux initiative https://rt.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Main_Page http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/p.../rt/3.0/README but then it will never be as good as the generic free old x86 posix QNX RTP 6.1 etc before BB got their hand on it perhaps michael should git pull it and give it spin to see
