Weston 13 Alpha Released With New Backends, Other Improvements

Weston is just a reference implementation. It's not supposed to be a daily driver for users, more of a demo of functionality in Wayland and some solid implementation of a few basic things that developers of other desktop environments and compositors can use as inspiration/reference for their own projects.

Maybe it could work just as a simple, lightweight WM, good enough to run VSCode and a web browser. If simplification results in low resource consumption, then it may be good as an everyday solution.

I use it as an "Oh shit, kde broke again" compositor since when I use sway for some reason it nukes all of my tabs...
