      Wait , he also supports OpenGL to continue being used ?!!!! Let me guess ; the decision to keep and increase software bloat ,which increases barrier to entry ( open source gpus have a new chance ) and makes open source software more anoying to work with , Is largely nvidia's

        If this managment can't be removed , we would be better off , convincing companies such as open ai and Valve to make their own api ( fork Vulkan ? )

          Also doesn't khrono's supports apple's ( recently now googles too ) attemp at a new web graphics api , despite their reasoning ( such as OpenGL not being able to run on their platforms ) being false ?

            OpenGL isn't mentioned at all except to say drivers will still be around for along time and if vendors feel the need for a feature they can ask, but the writing is clearly on the wall to move forward with Vulkan. Some CAD file or app shouldn't need to be re-written to Vulkan when OpenGL works just fine as is.
