it's not yet enabled for R600 based cards (still missing support for nir_intrinsic_load_global and nir_intrinsic_store_global). No promises how yet when someone will implement these. I hope to get around to it during x-mas time.

I am well aware of this and I had gotten OpenCL to seemingly work previously, but OS support maxed out at Ubuntu 18.04. Furthermore, the program I'm trying to run had issues on Ubuntu 18.04 the last time I tried it and pretty much required Ubuntu 20.04+ to get all parts of it to work.

Using amdgpu & Mesa 3D drivers from distribution, add OpenCL drivers via headless driver installation.

According to this https://www.x.org/wiki/RadeonFeature/ GCN 1 & 2 are using radeonsi 3D Driver, not r600g.

Unfortunately, opencl-mesa still gives blank on clinfo and neither does it work on Darktable nor Libreoffice. Still have to resort to opencl-legacy from Arch aur.
