But this is my point. Would you still be complaining if they thrown that dedicated HW in for free, keeping prices according to previous trends?
Yeah, it would be a card nobody wants. Rasterization perf is still important, and giving up on improving your technology for a whole generation is just damaging yourself and letting the competition catch up to you.
