Hey,
I finally returned on Linux full time, hoping the AMDGPU drivers matured. AMDGPU-Pro was my first go-to choice, but post-installation I would get a black screen and the monitor would go to power saving mode. So I upgraded the kernel, and added Padoka's repo, and rushed to test the FOSS drivers for my R9 380 4GB card. Unfortunately, Left 4 Dead 2 is too dark to be playable (straight off the main menu) and the Brightness settings do nothing to rectify that.
Any suggestions? AMD devs, can we hope to soon see a GUI for AMD drivers on Linux?
Never had this issue with fglrx on my HD 5870.
