DRI2-3 doesn't make a difference nor Kernel 3.9-4-4.1 and i use RadeonSI both Gpus are GCN.
Both are GCN, but difference between GCN 1.0 (oland) and GCN 1.1 (mullins) is like difference between let say nVidia Fermi and Kepler, while that Kepler is not just Kepler but an APU too

So, does glxgears and celestia works fine when GPU is at 850MHz? Or every single 3d app crashes at 850MHz?

Everything crashes at 850mhz except 2D menus and videos, if you try to change 3D settings of a game during 2D menu also crashes. Also does say Hainan instead of Jet_Pro, could be that doesn't see it right?

Ah, sorry then for long discussion if everything crashes it is real bug

It is Oland by code name, those Jet Pro and Hainan are just mobile model names of Oland.

edit: actually found something interesting at wikipedia, it says 780MHz is core with boost at 855MHz... might be something with boost is an issue or somewhat those 5MHz less

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...Rx_M2xx_Series

Is it exactly @850MHz for you and what Catalyst say for that chip?

But give pciid of that chip, one never knows might be something gets wrong with detection.

Jet/Sun/Hainan are actually different chips from Oland. They have similar GFX blocks, but Jet/Sun/Hainan don't have any display or multi-media hardware. Please file a proper bug for the dpm problem. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=DRI and select DRM/Radeon.

Yeah Oland's gfx block only, so it is just the same for the 3D driver... not for the other parts of the graphic driver stack.
