I'm using the xorg state tracker instead of the DDX driver and so far it works really well. I'm running KDE with kwin using OpenGL ES as backend. One system has a RV515 and the other system has a RV610 on-board graphics card installed. Especially the flashplugin seems to run better with the xorg state tracker. There are some issues though that the output of some videos is just scrambled. Enabling "2DAccel" results in some screen corruptions but even with this feature disabled my desktop is more responsive than with the DDX driver.
Are there any plans to make the xorg state tracker the default driver? From what I've seens so far I would really appreciate this.
