  • FYI: Natty Narwahl just went Gallium on Evergreen

After the latest push (including kernel 2.26.38.rc4) I've got this:

    Code:
    OpenGL vendor string: X.Org
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD JUNIPER
OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.10.1-devel
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20
I haven't tested running anything on it.

Remember it's mesa 7.10, not 7.11. Gallum on 7.10 is slow as hell compared to 7.11
    ## VGA ##
    AMD: X1950XTX, HD3870, HD5870
    Intel: GMA45, HD3000 (Core i5 2500K)

      Anyone using 2.6.38-rc5?

I've installed a copy from Fedora rawhide for F15, and -rc5 boots with no display unless I use 'nomodeset'. The 2.6.38-rc4 works fine.

I have ATI 5600 chipset in my Acer laptop, I am wondering if anyone else has had problems with -rc5.
