im downloading ver 2.1.0 to confirm but im really impressed so far.

i don't know how much fps diff i get cuz i havent look around to pass the show fps ingame but is well beyond 60 fps easily

Nice! I do not think r600g can drive dual GPU cards. If it is not you primary driver, can you test the same game with fglrx.

no the r600g don't dual gpu's in fact non OSS driver do but since dual card are 2 chips of the same gpu, r600g just think i have 2 separated 4850 which is good enough for now

about fglrx i can't test since im using kernel 2.6.38 and xserver 1.10 git, so it will be a pain in the ass to downgrade to that nightmare again

well crossfire on win xp in some crappy disk for games i have around and 2 xservers with 3d support to play games like openarena and have fluid movies in my hdtv (h264 brrips) since my cpu is powerful enough and Xvideo in r600 rulez and unlike X(crap)vba in fglrx it works perfectly 100% of the time out of the box with no crazy render error or system wide hangups

Vdrift at 25fps 1920x1080 (some blank smoke when brake fast)

speed dreams(torcs fork) at 30/45 fps 1920x1080 but when you put 100% distance , decreases to 19/21fps and goes unplayable.

the same as torcs, but quite fast around 50fps at 1920x1080

quake tenebrae 27 fps in default 640x480 and 21 fps without postprocessing and a 1920x1080

mupen64plus normally at 30fps, windowed and fullscreen to 1024x768

Dolphin-emu(GX and Wii) doesn't run in the newest releases from SVN , but in the 69xx svn runs slowly(at 18/22fps) than fglrx(fullspeed). It's testing for now...

Neverball runs fullspeed (almost 87/90fps) at 1920x1080

                Warsow 90fps 1920x1080

Nexuiz at INSANE!!!!! 1920x1080 GLSL on FSAA4x etc etc etc.... To the maximun... runs at 60 constant FPS better than fglrx!!

                Yes, it's going quite fast.

                I'm on a GNU/Linux 2.6.38-rc4 #1 SMP UbuntuStudio Custom x64

                glxinfo |grep -i opengl
                OpenGL vendor string: X.Org
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV770
                OpenGL version string: 1.4 (2.1 Mesa 7.11-devel)
                OpenGL extensions:

One trick.... If you use compiz, your fps decrease a lottttttttttttt
Try to disable when you play a game that need full OpenGL power.

That's because the open driver doesn't support anti aliasing and anisotropic filter. Probably something else too.

                    Yeah! But it's awesome!

One question... Nexuiz uses unreal engine???
In the settings have an option that check and enabled Texture compresion....
                    3 options:
                    1=none 2=Fast and 3=good
