It is very important to use mplayer, which is the only media player i know of, that makes fglrx render the video in a direct rendered window instead of in a indirect rendered window (you will get tearing).
Also should be noted, that you have to enable vsync always through amdcccle.

Install it freshly from ISO, use X-Swat repository below:
And use the fix from above!
Maybe it helps!
Not sure what's going on, but I can't get "fglrx" to update/patch via synaptic or apt (commandline). "fglrx-amdcccle" fails, also because it depends on "fglrx". I've attached a file of the errors from apt. help... please... :(
But now I get:
Code:Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 2.6.34-020634-generic (x86_64) Consult the make.log in the build directory /var/lib/dkms/fglrx/8.732/build/ for more information.

Did you run into any of these issues? If so, how did you fix them?

karmic build is still broken with:Code:execstack: cannot open "debian/fglrx-amdcccle/usr/lib/bin/amdcccle": No such file or directory
I'm also betting that their CCC privilege escalation app/script is still MIA as well...
why am I not surprised?
