Patches can not block depmod. Just wait longer for it to finish.

These patches do apply, but during kernel compilation they block depmod (without patches all compilation work).

And nothing...

aside from that im really thrilled about how the development is going.
the next year is going to rock gpu support-wise.
im really happy i bought a notebook with an ati gpu ^^

Yeah, me too.

All the cool stuff that have wend in to .33 was really unexpected.

It is fun to think about. A few years ago Gnome and KDE was the reason to upgrade to the latest and greatest distribution.

Now Gnome and KDE are so feature rich, they new releases are not the driving factor anymore.

Now you upgrade because you want the latest kernel, because you will get tons of new features and even improved.
