    To this day, never mind 2012, we still don't really have anything on par with CRTs. OLED finally matched the blackness and performance, but for now at least the prices are still higher than they were for professional grade 1600x1200 21" CRTs back when 1024x768 on 15-17" was the "standard" rez.

    Mind you, I'm not sure I could lift my old monitors any more. I certainly don't miss THAT aspect of them. :P

    I've been waiting for OLED for nearly 20 years now. Just a few more years to go...
