I tossed a 6600 XT into a Phenom II X4 desktop, installed Fedora Server 36, and it looks like ROCm is in Fedora repos now! I installed it, rebooted, and OpenCL just-works.
This was a pleasant surprise
My last attempt at this sort of set-up on the same computer with a RX 580 didn't go anywhere near as-smoothly.
