    That is great to hear. But I have a question:

    Is it not better to have these firmware blobs distributed on a service like LVFS other than on a git repository that needs to be pulled in by distributions?

      GC 10.3.7
      Since RDNA2 is already at GC 10.3, this can only mean we're talking about the refresh and not in any way RDNA3, right?

          These are loaded by the driver at runtime. It's not firmware that resides in an EEPROM on a device or board which is what LVFS generally deals with (e.g., new sbios or mouse firmware).
