    I'm glad nVidia even supply a Linux driver. Considering a tiny percentage of their sales come from linux customers it's doubtful whether it's profitable from a business perspective. The fact that they're actively developing it and trying to keep feature parity with the windows drivers is incredibly commendable.

      I think the concept was just adopted into the VESA or DP standard or whatever, so we might see monitors coming out with "freesync" if display manufacturers wish to implement the feature.
