    At least this gives people something to use, so at the time AMD releases something that works, there might be a few OpenCL apps out there that we can use.

    Good point. If you're already a lot ahead, it's not a definitive sign of improved performance that you stay ahead. Your competitor might just not have had enough time to catch you up yet.

    Which happens to be completely broken on windows (functions are decorated with a "_" prefix, meaning you can't even link against the library). The Linux version thankfully works a little better than that, but still...
