Using Coolbits to set fans below 50%
I am using the nvidia proprietary driver 455.23.05-0ubuntu1 and use the coolbits driver setting so that I can manually set the fan speed.
However, I am pretty sure that any setting that is below 50% will be ignored?
In any case, below 50% the nvidia-settings utility and the nvtop utility will no longer agree on the fan speed setting, as can be seen in this image.
When the fan speed is set above 50% then nvtop and nvidia-settings will be in agreement.
Is this a limitation of the Zotac GTX 1650 perhaps? I've also noticed that nvidia-settings shows that the "RPM" stat is unsupported for me?
