    Not that negligible if one is to pay for it. I do run 24/7 server with Ironlake CPU on it.

      I also saw on the mesa mailing list that the GPU hangs during VAAPI decoding are being fixed (see here). They got less annoying when proper GPU reset got implemented, but anyway, really nice to see Ironlake getting some love.
      I was just about to throw my Ironlake-based laptop away till I read this message, because I was suffering from the VAAPI issue. Of course, RC6 support is a big plus. Thanks for extending my laptop life.
