But hey. If you want to be regressive, why not go with a Linux 1.x or 2.x based distro? Totally systemd free, "retro" and guaranteed to never get you anywhere.

You can always try Slackware or Crux if you want to avoid systemd during your stay on Linux; those are more BSD-like Linuxes anyway. They aren't bleeding edge distros but, well...neither are the BSDs.

But I have spent too long on Debian and I just wanna do stuff, not figure out the OS & then do stuff-if that makes sense?
