It'd be pointless because no one would use it, you'd have just wasted a bunch of time and money, and probably added a bunch of new bugs into your driver. But hey! You could mark off that marketing checkbox.
And for the crazy people who really want to do raytracing on an Intel chip, they can just do it the old-fashioned way, by implementing a compute shader. Which is the exact same thing the driver team would be doing for them anyway.Last edited by smitty3268; 29 June 2021, 10:53 PM.
