      Damn! Intel is simply guns blazing right now. Little wonder though. With the disasters of side channel attacks based on their shitty, benchmark inflating version of SMT, to them getting destroyed by AMD in Supercomputing and HPC, to their losing the prestige account with Apple and to their incapability of fabbing a chip at below 10nm, it looks like Intel is having a "Microsoft Moment" and doing two things in earnest.

      1: Doing real engineering on the software side and not just for skewing benchmarks for marketing purposes.

      2: Embracing Open Source and Linux in a very big way. When you lose Apple and Windows is stagnant and becoming ever more irrelevant, what else is Intel to do?
