    I'm pretty sure the guy meant 100 Mbps LAN. It's totally not acceptable anymore. The first Raspberry had 100 Mbps LAN years ago. Intel PCs have had 1000 Mbps LAN for over a decade. All standard cables support 1000 Mbps. Even cheap $25 ARM boards support gigabit LAN. Only the Raspberries don't. Now you have 8-12 TB drives and filling them with 100 Mbps LAN just won't cut it.
