    Clear linux is intended as a VM only cloud OS, so not really surprising. Also, I expect they cripple everything if on an AMD cpu. That's basically Intel's playbook.

      I think they compile stuff with -march flags that don't even run on AMD cpus, although i could be mistaken about that.
