I don't think so, because you would see 4 platter drives have twice the data speed on sequential data than 2 platter drives. Also, it would make no sense... -
Never made sense to me that they never parallelized the writes and reads over all platters. Like say there are 6 platters, do a raid-0 on the six, all...Leave a comment:
