Okay, this is really new for me. I've had only seen intel or atheros here, where I've had working hardware from the beginning. Mediatek must do some homework. I can remember when even atheros was a pain in the as.

Was thinking premium hardware vendors are taking care of this. And I realized, we're talking about HP, not premium. Sorry, my fault

The HP EliteBooks series can be considered premium. It's the best laptop I've ever bought and it's splendid.
        • Fingerprint scanner
        • 1440p 120Hz 400nit display
        • All metal
        • A large touchpad
        • Keyboard back lighting
        • Top notch security including full memory encryption
        • Upgradeable RAM (two slots) and storage
        • Almost every component can be disable in BIOS (WiFi Bluetooth WebCam etc)
        • 5MP WebCam
        • Premium calibrated speakers
        • 2.4Gbps WiFi 6e adapter
        • Thunderbolt 4/USB4
        • Enterprise remote management (optional, can be disabled in BIOS) - works regardless of an OS installed
        Cons:
        • Meh battery life
        • No Ethernet
        • USB-C power connector (it's horrible for laptops because it's flimsy as hell)
