Hello phoronix , have you tried the functionality of the fingerprint reader?
Could you please post the output of the "lsusb" command showing the fingerprint reader type?
    Thank you.

phoronix I would also love to read information about i780 GPU Linux support and performance. And what about the new AI feature? Is it enabled in the Laptop?

The 780M is also used in the new 8700G desktop APU (and 8600G=760M, 8500G/8300G=740M) and there are articles for those:

          https://www.phoronix.com/review/amd-ryzen-8000g-series

Phoronix, Linux Hardware Reviews, Linux hardware benchmarks, Linux server benchmarks, Linux benchmarking, Desktop Linux, Linux performance, Open Source graphics, Linux How To, Ubuntu benchmarks, Ubuntu hardware, Phoronix Test Suite

          The last sentence is:
The Ryzen 7 8700G can work great on Linux assuming you are on a new enough Linux kernel and Mesa as well as having the latest linux-firmware.git.
But no details as to what versions that means. It might still be interesting to have an article specifically about these iGPUs.
