    What about SR-IOV, will AMD ever enable that on consumer GPUs?

      I hope so. We tinkerers and student may be able to learn and use more AMD this way.

        Would you really need that once the native context support is ready?

        That will allow multiple guests to use the AMD drivers and all get to use the GPU at the same time with near native performance. We'd probably see that arrive sooner I think.
