    So to use this now do I have to set amd_pstate=active on the kernel parametes on grub? What are the benefits of this vs using the default acpi_cpufreq? On my zen3 notebook there is a key combination to change power profiles, if I use amd_pstate how do they interact?

      Improved powersaving in addition of performance mode in the power profiles.
