      Thanks for asking if they would be interested in a 'workstation'-or-lower class processor, something I would love to kick the tires on and introduce to the office. Bummer that they aren't going to offer something like that.

      I think it would be pretty awesome if someone, anyone, made an ARM-based micro-ATX board with a reasonable desktop-class processor, an onboard GPU that was supported in Mesa, and out-of-the-box support to load a generic Linux ISO up. I always hoped the Raspberry Pi folks would do this.

        Closest you'll get is this: https://www.ipi.wiki/products/com-hp...43194527875234 - 2K$ for the 32core base model, 2500$ for the 64core version, bring your own chassis, PSU, ram, etc. Just the board and CPU are provided. I hear it runs great, though.

          Is the new core ARMv8 or ARMv9? Does it support SVE/SVE2/SME or any other fancy instructions?
