Not to be the conspiracy theorist, but doesn't this reak of back doors? Having the microcontroller, the psp, know about the return value of every function call at worst and state of the registers at best seems iffy.

its not storing or returning register context, it is just keeping a record of execution context. think of it like "it crashed while calling functiom login()", not 'it crashed calling login("root", "hunter2")'

also, i didnt read through the entire change but i can almost guarantee that this debugfs parameter requires root to read
