If this CPU had a theme song, I'd probably be something like Back to Shalla-Bal by Joe Satriani.
You get a like for mentioning Joe Satriani

On-topic: This CPU is really a freaking beast!

It's quite anticlimactic - systems with 128 execution units existed before. e.g. https://paste.opensuse.org/30574720 (image)

Yeah, servers have. Not consumer-grade systems...

              Found this elsewhere:
              AMD vs intel 2020

Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!

WTF. Michael, can you post a 25 second gif/video clip of this? Tag it nsfw, please.

Possible typo under Coremark results ?

The Threadripper 3990X hit 70% the speed of the 3970X with Coremark or 3.73x faster than the Core i9 10980XE.
If I'm parsing correctly I think the text is saying that 3990X is slower than 3970X, while results show 3990X is faster.

One thing is for sure... the XKCD "Compiling" comic has been overtaken by events:

                    Test signature

"Fortunately" you can still take hours to compile Chromium
