Nope. You have ARB_draw_buffers and ARB_framebuffer_object but EXT_texture_compression_s3tc and ATI_draw_buffers are missing. I don't know why ati draw buffers is required when arb is available. This appears to be a "feature" of Cg library.

There are already at least these bug reports:

Which need to be fixed before the game can run.

What GPU do you have? Please note that Intel GPUs and ATI GPUs with Mesa drivers are not supported. You need ATI with fglrx driver or Nvidia with their proprietary driver.

Which distribution? Is your driver properly installed? Does glxgears work? What does glxinfo show?

        Any ideas?
There's some problem with PulseAudio. You can try disabling PulseAudio or use padsp.

Which distribution are you using? 32- or 64-bit? Some of our beta testers reported success with PulseAudio so at least it works for someone.

What exactly is the problem? Installer does not start? 32- or 64-bit version? 32-bit libraries (ia32-libs and ia32-libs-gtk) are required for the 32-bit versions on 64-bit distributions. If all else fails you can manually unzip the package.

The game was compiled on lenny so it should work.

          Intel GPUs are not supported.

Trine looks great, but I still don't think it's AS good a deal as the other two. I'll doubtless still buy though, if for the cause more than anything!

Trine looks good and original, but this bundle looks like a rushed release: no open-source graphics support, no Linux system requirements officially available, one non-available game, one non-finished game that doesn't even work under Linux...

Well, I couldn't play Lugaru and Penumbra from the first bundle either. But at least there was World of Goo and Gish .

Hopefully the next bundle will contain games I can play. I'm not in a hurry though, still haven't played much of the first two bundles (except Osmos!)

And yes, this is a proper 32bit env, not a chroot.
Can you post output of the following command?
                  gdb -x gdb_auto_backtrace.txt ./trine-bin32

where gdb_auto_backtrace.txt is a file containing this text:
                  Code:
                  run
                  backtrace
                  quit

That won't help you much. What you see is already a backtrace and the last thing in it is some library (probably the graphics driver) which has no stack pointers and so it's impossible to trace back further.

padsp worked. I use it so little (this is only time I can think of right now) that it didn't occur to me :P. I'm using 32bit Fedora 13.

To me, "Some of our beta testers reported success with PulseAudio" doesn't really cut it. PA is in wide use, with some major distributions shipping it standard. Its kinda like saying, "Some of our beta testers reported success with KDE" .
