AMD EPYC 7642 Benchmarks: The Rome 48 Core CPU That Easily Takes On Intel's Xeon Platinum 8280

The synthetic Coremark benchmark puts the EPYC 7642 a great deal ahead of the Xeon Platinum 8280.
Likewise, the open-source Stockfish and asmFish chess engines with their terrific scaling potential is able to run the EPYC 7642 in both 1P and 2P configurations much faster than the Xeon Platinum 8280.
