I'm full of hope for native valve games on Ubuntu.
I am a little skeptical but not going to be negative to the bitter to the end about this.

FFS not another article on Steam, if it's going to happen it's going to happen, can't you write an article based on facts from Valve rather than speculation
On a side node I doubt Steam games would work on a 2.4 kernel never mind a 2.2 kernel

Steam - Linux client binaries?
By looking in the file at http://store.steampowered.com/public...m_client_linux I managed to change the url and download 4 interesting files.
I have not been able to verify the content of the files yet, but will look into it as soon as I get home from work.

I'm skeptical of this info. It lists X360 as well, but I'm pretty sure Steam isn't coming to the Xbox.
The bash script is more believable however.
