This seems like a really cool feature for debugging hard real time performance (something that interest me deeply both on a professional and on a hobbyist level).

Is it possible to make use of it in pts suite? I have no clue about the whole scope...but can the noise be somehow measured in an easy metric (oversimplified eg noise per second) such that one could compare different CPU schedulers in game scenarios. Usually fps and frame time are almost indistinguishable but in such cases this yet to be defined noise metric would help a lot get insights on responsiveness..

Should help in tracking down that squeaking noise my kernel makes from time to time...
        Really annoying.
