Everything nice and feels-good has the appearance of communism and socialism when you get down to it.
But if y'all are really upset about :
as opposed to:
then damn y'all.
IMHO, none of that other crap after the word software should really matter or even need to be stated if the code is worth a damn.
And with all the complaining about how everything sucks and there's too many bugs and whatnot, that means we can deduct that the current status quo of "mainly white dudes" ain't really all that great, so why don't we give things like "welcoming environments" and "diversity" a try and perhaps we'll get more users which will, in turn, result in more bug reports and programmers to fix bugs.
I also considered:
and
but I had to keep it real.
I'm gonna get back to working on my Fedora Desktop. It's play with themes day.
I was referring to the first half, especially my eyes got caught by "... everyone benefits ...". However, you're right, that everything nice on global scale, reminds of communism and socialism.
Also, bugs are bugs,... me, as developer of custom software solutions, know that there's never enough time to deliver it all and perfect,.. (maybe, if better technologies were used, where developers spend most time writing only domain related stuff, then it's possible,... however, implementing all layers is quite effort, and practically all controllers and DAO/Repositories are quite similar)

The Fedora Project lives in a world where Red Hat benefits from free and open source software built by inclusive, welcoming, and open-minded communities.
The Fedora Project envisions a world where we have a 30% market share.
