        11 best memories on this site would be awesome. Or maybe 11 best milestones/events?

            Elaborating on bridgman's nice picture:
            Code:
            birthday_celebration
            {
              x = phoronix_age

              drink x beers

              write whatever_comes_to_mind
            }
            Make it a tradition, and see how long you can avoid a runtime exception.

            also.. Pics or it didn't happen :-)

              So since the mandatory beer comments have already been made what else is to say? Happy birthday and all the best for the coming years. A broad scope of topics is welcome. I will refrain from asking for Gentoo benchmarks (should do them for myself). AMD stuff will be interesting, also, or especially also low power things are of interest. I know they're not the awesome numbercrunchers but in real life you won't waste lots of power (and money) for something like a CarPC that is made of some high end components and clearly built way above the required dimensions.
              Oh yeah, and maybe a comparison of text adapters. Which one puts most ASCII characters per second in the screen in 40x25.
              Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!

                    I'd prefer there be no celebration or article

                      how about a giveaway price of a years subscription, for the best geek joke about linux posted here, or posting benchmarks for the oldest crappiest system that's still capable of booting and running at originally specified performance?
