I recorded myself apitrace from Killing Floor to compare gfx drivers, the size for just a few seconds is extreme. Do you really want to use traces?

The file size is ridiculous but unfortunately there isn't much of another option unless game devs start making more automated test capabilities or I stick with the current tests (and Metro).
