RSS feed at phoronix.com can no longer be read from ThunderBird and Akregator

The problem first appeared on March 27 or 28.
Thunderbird 102.9.0 (Ubuntu 22.04 x86_64) stopped receiving updates from https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php RSS feed, it reports that "The feed URL is not authorized".

From the error console in ThunderBird:

GET https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php
HTTP/2 403 Forbidden 54ms

XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag. Expected: </link>. rss.php:12:3
Location: https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php
Line Number 12, Column 3:

I can open https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php in Firefox and view the XML.
However, in Firefox, Cloudflare asks me now from time to time to confirm I am not a bot when I do so. Could the problem be related to this?

Akregator fails to process https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php too, so the issue is probably not in ThunderBird itself.

The discussion of a similar issue https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1402266 indicates that there might be some issue with the site, rather than with the feed client.

phoronix.com itself opens fine, https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php also opens OK in a browser but not in Thunderbird or Akregator.
