Currently Phoronix has a spam detection whereby if it sees a post that contains a lot of external links, it will flag that post as needing to be approved. This is her for obvious reasons (to deal with spam) but the detection should be updated with a whitelist, i.e. if a person is posting a lot of github links its almost always because there is some legitimate technical discussion going on, and not someone trying to sell you snake oil.
